Openness is one of the main principles of an intellectual competition. There are various types of tasks to be solved during the Olympiad. These can be: writing research papers within the chosen area and public presentation of the findings in the format of a report; or solving problems depending on the specifics of the chosen area.
The Petropolitan Science (Re)Search Olympiad is a great way to extend the horizons of your knowledge, increase your confidence and interest in science, and engage in networking with recognised scientists in various fields of science.
Depending on their field of study, the winners and awardees of the PS(R)S Olympiad will be awarded up to 100 additional points for individual achievements when applying to master’s and doctoral programmes of St Petersburg University. In addition, the participants can develop their research and creative capabilities in their professional field by reaching beyond the standard university assignments.
