St Petersburg University has announced the start of admissions for international applicants
St Petersburg University has started admitting documents from foreign citizens who are applying for state-funded places for bachelor’s, specialist’s, master’s, and doctoral programmes.
Office hours are available on the website of the University Admissions Committee.
Admission tests will be held in the form of a competitive selection of documents (portfolios) which must include: a motivation letter; documents on academic training; a document showing an appropriate level of proficiency in the language in which the degree programme is taught; and documents showing extra individual achievements. Applicants are given the opportunity to submit documents online when applying on a state-funded basis.
Those who plan to apply for doctoral programmes for training research and teaching staff must submit a motivation letter as well as a description of the prospected research, curriculum vitae, and thesis abstract. After evaluating the portfolio documents of applicants to the master's programme "Advanced Mathematics", there will be an interview with those who score more than 40 points.

Documents for state-funded places are accepted up to and including 8 June 2019. The lists of applicants who have successfully passed the competitive selection and are recommended for training in the 2019/2020 academic year will be available on the official website of the Admissions Committee of St Petersburg University on 2 July 2019. St Petersburg University is launching a series of informational onsite and online meetings for foreign applicants, where they can learn how to prepare all the necessary documents and what difficulties they may encounter while filling them out.
