St Petersburg University launches an online course "Artificial Intelligence: Fundamentals"
The course "Artificial Intelligence: Fundamentals" introduces the topics of artificial intelligence, data analysis, and machine learning. It provides a view on the task classification of artificial intelligence and artificial intelligence techniques.
The course consists of five parts. Each module of the course includes video lectures, presentations, links to recommended sources on the topic, and other materials. For developing practical skills, test tasks and cases are used.

The online course provides an opportunity to develop the skills of identifying learning tasks with and without a teacher. Students are introduced to the main methods used in machine learning, recommender systems, association rules, and ensemble methods: stacking, bagging, and boosting. Students will also learn what logistic regression is, how to use it, and which business processes logistic models can be implemented in.
Upon completion of the course, students can go on to take an online course of St Petersburg University "Machine Learning: Fundamentals" .
