St Petersburg University offers plenty online courses available on the largest educational platform in China, XuetangX
The list of online courses provided by St Petersburg University has been updated on XuetangX. Now, students throughout the world will be able to gain knowledge in the field of law from the University professors using this platform.
XuetangX is China’s largest national massive open online courses platform, founded by Tsinghua University in October 2013. It owns online courses developed by leading universities from different countries, with an audience that already exceeds 80 million people.
St Petersburg University became the first Russian partner of the platform and has been posting its online educational products in Chinese and English since 2019. The most popular among them help international students to learn Russian and become acquainted with the history of our country.
Many other areas of education and research conducted at St Petersburg University also attract the attention of foreigners. For example, Chinese universities show a high interest in Russia’s experience in the field of law and invite experts from the University to deliver public lectures.
To provide more extensive training opportunities for the University’s lecturers in this field, three online courses of St Petersburg University in the field of law were opened for registration at once on the XuetangX platform. Criminology will cover the phenomenon of crime. Introduction to Video Game Law: A Russian Perspective will address legal issues in the computer game industry, and International Labour Law will focus on the labour law and human rights.
