Programme description

The bachelor’s programme ‘Iranian Philology (with additional qualification "Translator/Interpreter")’ is aimed at developing in students a holistic understanding of the languages, literatures, culture, history, ethno-confessional and socio-legal traditions, and contemporary political and economic processes in the Near and Middle East. Students also study in depth the Iranian and other oriental languages
This academic programme is aimed at applicants who want to build a successful career in leading educational, research and cultural institutions of the Russian Federation, and in Russian state and private companies cooperating with Iran, Afghanistan and other countries in the region
After competing their studies, students will be awarded the additional qualification ‘Translator/Interpreter’
