Granites of Ladoga

The Petrography Museum at St Petersburg University presents a new online exhibition. It will include samples of granites from the currently updated section of the permanent exhibition "Igneous and metamorphic rocks of the Ladoga region" at the Petrography Museum.

The exhibition presents the main types of granitoids of the Ladoga region. Among them are the following: granite gneiss of the Vuorio dome; enderbite found near the village Kurkiyoki; Serdobolsky plagiogranite; and Tervussky, Kuznechninsky, Borodinsky and Vuoksinsky granites.
