Humanity in the digital world: battle of intelligences

The St Petersburg University Representative Office in Spain opens the new season with a highly anticipated event: a series of lectures by Tatiana Chernigovskaya. Dr Chernigovskaya, the Director of the SPbU Institute of Cognitive Studies, holds a doctorate in Biological Sciences and is a renowned specialist in cognitive sciences, with a focus on topics such as psycholinguistics, neuropsychology, and neurophysiology. She also contributes to the popularisation of science through her work in print and digital media.
It would be hard to find a more capable guide to human consciousness than Dr Chernigovskaya. She is a famous specialist in neurolinguistics and a member of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters. In 2017, the Russian Academy of Sciences nominated her for the Gold Medal for her achievements in promoting scientific knowledge. Dr Chernigovskaya engages the audience with her expert knowledge, a charismatic delivery, and a great sense of humour. Beyond the entertaining presentation lie questions we seldom ask ourselves in everyday life, but which hold significance in comprehending the functioning of our brains, consciousness, and the universe as a whole.
The meeting will be hosted by Russian House Cultural Foundation at the St Petersburg State University Representative Office in Spain. The lecture will be held in Russian language.
