NUCLEUS — 2025. Nuclear Physics, Elementary Particle Physics and Nuclear Technologies
St Petersburg University will host the LXXV International Conference NUCLEUS — 2025. Nuclear Physics, Elementary Particle Physics and Nuclear Technologies , exploring topical challenges in nuclear physics, high energy physics, nuclear power engineering, nuclear medicine, and research studies with using synchrotron radiation and neutrons.
The conference includes 8 panels:
- Experimental and theoretical studies of atomic nuclei properties
- Experimental and theoretical investigations of nuclear reactions
- Contemporary nuclear physics methods and technologies
- Relativistic nuclear physics, fundamental particle physics and high energy physics
- Neutrino physics and astrophysics
- Synchrotron and neutron research studies and supporting infrastructure for them
- Nuclear medicine
Nuclear physics methods in cultural heritage studies The conference is the oldest nuclear physics conference in Russia and one of the world’s longest-running meetings in this field (established in 1950). The gathering is co-hosted by St Petersburg University, Russian Scientific Centre ’Kurchatov Institute", and Joint Institute for Nuclear Research.
