The Graduate School of Management at St Petersburg University for the first time is among the world’s top 100 QS Executive MBA Rankings
The Executive MBA programme of the Graduate School of Management at St Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) has for the first time been listed among the top 100 international ranking of the leading QS Executive MBA Rankings programmes. It has moved up by four positions compared to last year.
On 30 June 2020, a new issue of QS Executive MBA Rankings 2020 was published, according to which GSOM SPbU is ranked 97th in the world. Among European business schools, it is listed as 39th.
The ranked list of the best QS Executive MBA programmes has been published since 2017. It includes 161 business schools and is compiled by the British company Quacquarelli Symonds. It uses five criteria to compile QS Executive MBA Rankings:
- Career Outcome — 20%
- Diversity — 10% (includes both the representation levels of women and number of nationalities among a programme’s students)
- Employer Reputation — 30%
- Executive Profile — 15% (includes average years’ work experience, managerial experience, and c-suite experience)
- Thought Leadership — 25%
According to the Executive Profile indicators, GSOM SPbU is the third in the world and the second among European business schools. In Executive MBA groups, more than 80% of students are top managers, with their average managerial experience being 12 years. At the same time, 70% of alumni of the EMBA programmes at GSOM SPbU move up the career ladder within 12 months after graduation. According to QS, this exceeds the same indicator in Europe, which is on average 55.6%.
