Financial Times European Business School Ranking 2019
The Financial Times has published the European Business Schools Rankings, which includes 95 of the best business schools in Europe. For the seventh year in a row, GSOM SPbU is the only representative of Russia in the ranking. It serves as a guideline for the vast majority of applicants for master's programmes, MBA and executive education courses when they choose an educational institution. The leading place in the ranked list was taken by HEC Paris (École des hautes études commerciales de Paris), which is an academic partner of GSOM SPbU. Trinity College Dublin of the University of Dublin – the leading business school of Ireland – follows immediately after the Graduate School of Management of St Petersburg University in the ranking.
The position of GSOM SPbU in the ranking is the result of the meticulous and systematic work of the school in recent years. The development directions chosen in 2013 led us to these good results. Today comes the moment when we need to determine a new direction of development in order to move to the next stage.

Financial Times evaluates business schools on the basis of their positions in four separate rankings: Masters in Management; Executive MBA; Full Time MBA; as well as Open Programmes – Executive Education. While compiling the ranking, three criteria play a key role: a position among European schools; salary today (average alumni salary three years after graduation); and salary increase (average difference in alumni salary between graduation and three years after graduation). The data for compiling the ranking are taken from surveys of business schools and alumni’s profiles.
