QS Graduate Employability Rankings: St Petersburg University is among the top 100 universities in terms of success of its graduates
The QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2022 of top world universities has been published today.
For five subsequent years, St Petersburg University has been among the top 100 universities in terms of Alumni Outcomes indicator reflecting the data on university graduates included into the rankings for specialists demonstrating high achievements in various fields. St Petersburg University takes 67th position based on this indicator.
In comparison to 2019 (the rankings were not published in 2020), St Petersburg University has improved its positions in the list moving from group 181–190 to group 171–180. Besides, according to the rankings of 2021, 96.4 % of the University graduates find employment within the first 12 months after graduation.
St Petersburg University has also approached the top 100 of successful universities under the Employer-Student Connections criterion. Interaction with employers plays an important role in the life of the University and its students. Today, the list of St Petersburg University partners includes over 2,000 commercial companies and educational organisations from different spheres as well as the authorities.

For reference: The British company Quacquarelli Symonds has been publishing the graduate employability ranking of the world’s top 500 universities since 2015. The ranking is based on the following five key indicators: the employer reputation (30%); alumni outcomes (25%); partnerships with employers (25%); employer-student connections (10%); and graduate employment rate (10%).
