St Petersburg University at the 7th St Petersburg International Labour Forum
St Petersburg University researchers in psychology, sociology of labour, labour law and experts in the field of personnel management, economics, and medicine will take part in the St Petersburg International Labour Forum to present their research findings. This year, the theme of the forum is "From labour market to employment market: new reality".
The programme has several tracks to discuss social challenges and regulation models; labour and employment in the new socio-economic reality; labour migration and migration flows; and other most pressing issues. In total, the Forum will host more than 100 research panels, round tables, research and practical conferences and other events. The events will be held online, in-person, and mixed formats.
Among the key events of the St Petersburg International Labour Forum is the KUB EXPO Exhibition "Human Resources. Management. Safety".
At the 7th St Petersburg International Labour Forum, St Petersburg University is a space of opportunities for the development of education, research, and career. The Forum will feature an official opening ceremony of the St Petersburg University Pedagogical Clinic.
To improve the forum programme, the Centre for Sociological and Internet Research at St Petersburg University is conducting a study of the expectations and requests of the forum participants in 2023. Based on the results of the survey, St Petersburg University specialists will develop recommendations for improving the event programme and forum organisation.
The 7th St Petersburg International Labour Forum is the largest discussion platform in the development of labour relations and the development of human capital. At the Forum, representatives of science, business, the expert community and young professionals can discuss current problems and exchange experience in the field of modern labour relations. The event was organised by: the Government of St Petersburg; St Petersburg University; the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of States Members of the Commonwealth of Independent States with the support of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Russia; and the Federal Service for Labour and Employment of the Russian Federation. In 2023, the Forum will take place at three venues: the Taurida Palace; St Petersburg University; and the Expoforum Exhibition and Convention Centre.
At the Forum, St Petersburg University will offer consultations on its academic programmes and online courses and present its research achievements. The St Petersburg University clinics will hold workshops and games for forum visitors.
