‘Last year, together with the Central Railway Museum we held an Olympiad in the history of engineering among school students. The event was highly successful. Today, signing a partnership agreement with the historical park ‘Russia — my History’ is another big step in this direction. In the near future, we will announce a joint Olympiad in the history of St Petersburg’ said Aleksandr Babich.
Representatives of St Petersburg University learned about the infrastructure and exhibition possibilities of the Museum and Exhibition Centre.
‘We are happy to start cooperation with the leading university in Russia. St Petersburg University has a rich history and great traditions. I believe that together we will enrich our permanent exposition devoted to the history of St Petersburg. We are ready to be involved as organisers of Olympiads, competitions and other joint events supporting any initiatives of our new partner,’ commented Oleg Cherniaga.
