St Petersburg University launches an online educational project with the support of VK
To mark the 300th anniversary of St Petersburg University, the Centre of E-Learning Development, with the backing of VK Group, the official partner of the University, has launched a new educational project. Leading scholars and authors of popular online courses at St Petersburg University have recorded video lectures for the VK social media, which are open to anyone interested.
In the series of lectures for the project ‘Online lectures for the 300th anniversary of St Petersburg University’, lecturers and professors will discuss modern scientific research in various fields of knowledge, including Law, Biology, History, Oriental Studies, Literature, IT, Philosophy, Art, Psychology, Physics, and much more.
There are already over ten video lectures available for viewing. These include ‘Virtual Property and Law’ by Vladislav Arkhipov, Head of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law; ‘Science in the Works of Salvador Dali’ by Sergei Stafeev, Professor in the Institute of Cognitive Studies at St Petersburg University; and ‘Three-Dimensional Urbanisation and Urban Underground Space’ by Nikolai Bobylev, Associate Professor in the Department of Geoecology.
