Minutes of the Rector’s Meeting
The format of training sessions from 1 March 2021
The Rector’s meeting addressed the proposals of the heads of academic and research departments on the format of training sessions from 1 March 2021. The following decisions were made taking into account the experience of organising the teaching and learning process with the use of information and communication technologies and the need to comply with the Recommendations for the prevention of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in educational institutions of higher education, approved by the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation on 29 July 2020.
From 1 March 2021, it is proposed to deliver classes in a mixed format, combining traditional classroom classes, a remote class format using information and communication technologies and a hybrid form, in the following fields of study:
- Asian and African Studies
- International Relations
- Earth Sciences
- Political Science
- Applied Mathematics and Control Processes
- Physics
- The ‘Legal Protection of Economic Competition’ programme
Classes in a mixed format will begin during March 2021:
- History — from 10 March 2021
- Mathematics and Mechanics — from 15 March 2021
- Mathematics and Computer Science — from 15 March 2021
- Liberal Arts and Sciences — from 9 March 2021
The following fields of study continue full-time training using information and communication technologies:
- Biology
- Journalism and Applied Communications
- Foreign Languages
- Management
- Pedagogy
- Psychology
- Sociology
- Philosophy
- Chemistry (until 1 April 2021)
- Philology (until 1 April 2021)
- Economics
- Law
The following fields of study continue training in a mixed format:
- Arts
- The specialist’s programme ‘Astronomy’
- Nursing
- Dental Medicine and Medical Technologies
- Physical Education (bachelor’s programme)
- Physical Education (non-university level higher education)
- Medicine
The format of delivering classes in fields of study from 1 March 2021.
At the meeting, it was noted that up-to-date information on the format of classes is posted on the Electronic Timetable.
