The 5th video lecture from the series ‘The History of the University in People’

It is dedicated to the 150^th anniversary of the birth of Sergei Diaghilev (1872–1929), a theatre and artistic figure, one of the founders of the ’World of Art’ group, the organiser of the famous ’Russian Seasons’ in Europe, who played a crucial role in the popularisation of Russian art in Europe and in the world at the turn of the 19^th — 20^th centuries.
