Micro-World

The programme concept

Part "Macro World". It introduces the exposition "Crystal Morphology" of the Mineralogical Museum:

• Introduction to the topic (an excursion with a demonstration of samples)
• What is crystallography? (a simple way to talk about difficult things, working with models)
• Quest: an independent comparison of models with real crystals in the museum exposition

Part "Micro-World":

• Excursion "How to see what is not visible" at the Centre for Microscopy and Microanalysis at the St Petersburg University Research Park
• It introduces the Micro-methods
