Tamara Gardens
Workshop "Tamara Gardens" by an informal association of graphic artists, art historians and curators Print-Commune.
Each of us has a magical safe place where we mentally return to in search of comfort and resource ... It can be your grandmother’s village house; the park where you walked as a teenager in love; the shore of a forest lake, where you fished with your father; beautiful daydream...
Our memories bind us to these moments, and we use them to identify ourselves, to get to know ourselves, or to imagine ourselves different...
The participants in the workshop will create their own "Tamara Gardens", inspired by the text by Vladimir Nabokov.
We will use leaves and herbs that have been carefully prepared in advance. We will make mysterious floral prints on a real etching machine, and everyone will take at least three beautiful paintings.
Is it possible to capture an emotion? Fix a state? Preserve a fragile beauty of the moment...? Perhaps. We will teach you how to do it.
