Walking through the University: the Bobrinsky Palace
St Petersburg University continue the series of video lectures "Walking through the University" with an online lecture "Walking through the University: the Bobrinsky Palace".
It is dedicated to the Bobrinsky Palace (located on Galernaya st., 58–60), architectural monument of 18th-19th centuries. The Bobrinsky Palace is situated in the oldest part of St Petersburg, and named in honour of the family owned this palace from 1798 until 1917. Today the Palace serves as the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences of St Petersburg University.
The lecture will be delivered by Nina Zherve, an employee of the St Petersburg University History Museum, historian, and an award winner of the National Prize for Cultural Heritage in 2013 in the nomination "Enlightener".
