New online course of St Petersburg University to teach the basics of the Java programming language
St Petersburg University launches the course "Fundamentals of Java. Basic level". Students will be able to learn the key operators of the universal programming language in which highly loaded applications are written and many popular products are created, including international online stores, streaming services, and social networks.
The online course is intended for those who are planning to start their way into IT or are already working in this field and want to strengthen their competitive advantage as a specialist. It may also be of interest to students of academic programmes in the field of computer technology. Basic training in the fundamental programming or computer science and knowledge of English at an elementary level are required for training.
The course "Fundamentals of Java. Basic level"
The programme consists of five modules. During the training, students will get acquainted with Java and understand the basics of programming: data types and syntax of the language using algorithmic tasks as examples. Practical tasks will be offered to consolidate the theory and better assimilate the material at important control points.
Following the completion of the course, students will learn how to: solve basic programming tasks in the Java language; create classes and describe their methods; handle exceptions during programme execution; and work in object-oriented programming.
