SPbU launches new online course "Quantum Computer Programming on Python with Qiskit"
The "Quantum Computer Programming on Python with Qiskit" course provides students with an opportunity to better understand quantum computer programming processes.
Course participants will learn the state of the art tools for quantum algorithms development, testing and execution, get acquainted with Qiskit — the must have library for a quantum computing engineer, explore other tools from IBM Quantum, run some of the algorithms on the real quantum computer.
The syllabus of the course includes following lessons: QisKit. Basics. Simulators; Qiskits. Gates. IO; IBMQ; Extended Algorithms (QFT, Quantum Adder, Phase Estimation); Extended Algorithms (Hamiltonian Simulation, HHL), which will introduce to the course participants some new and useful algorithms in the field of quantum computer programming.
The course will be especially of interest to those who passed previous courses on the subject. It is expected that students of the course can write or at least understand programmes in Python.
The course was designed by Sergey Sysoev, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, the author of The Introduction to Quantum Computing and Quantum Computing. Less Formulas – More Understanding courses.
The “Quantum Computer Programming on Python with Qiskit” online course is taught in English and available on the "Open Education" platform.
