Visualisation helps to analyse data effectively

Tables, graphs, charts, block diagrams, maps and other visual aids can be the key to understanding data. They will help: draw experienced-based conclusions; identify trends and patterns; have a clear understanding of events and critically evaluate them; and display the results of research.
To optimise this process, it is necessary to learn how to use particular tools. A new online course of St Petersburg University on "Data Visualisation" is devoted to them. You will learn how to: effectively apply methods for identifying data patterns using visualisation techniques in the MS Excel and Power BI environments; build basic, special and interactive charts; and create dashboards. These are indispensable skills for anyone who study data in detail.
