Dinosaurs of Russia
SPbU hosts the exhibition Dinosaurs of Russia.
The exhibition presents real dinosaur bones found on the territory of Russia. In addition to fossilised dinosaur bones, the exhibition includes replicas of individual skulls and skeletons, as well as realistic reconstructions of the animals’ appearance. Information screens and infographics tell the story of palaeontological discoveries and research on the territory of Russia.
The centrepiece of the exhibition will be the large limb bones of Amurosaurus, donated by the Palaeontology Laboratory of the Institute of Geology and Nature Management of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences as a gift for the 300th anniversary of the University.
