Fashion in the language of Nabokov

The Vladimir Nabokov Museum at St Petersburg University opens the exhibition "Fashion in the language of Nabokov". It is set to mark his 125th anniversary. The exhibition presents formal and casual costumes, fashionable in Russia at the turn of the 19th-20th centuries. It will be illustrated with quotes from Nabokov’s books and will enable you to imagine what his literary characters looked like, what clothes the nobility chose, what fabrics and colours were preferred.
