Ivan Borgman and the first Institute of Physics in Russia

The exhibition is dedicated to the Russian physicist, Rector of St Petersburg University, outstanding social and scientific figure, Professor Ivan Borgman. His main brainchild was the first Institute of Physics in Russia. The exhibition presents items from the collection of the Museum of the History of Physics and Mathematics from the laboratories of the Institute of Physics and rare archival photographs of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
