Shift Space

The exhibition features works by Felix Volosenkov from the SPbU collection and new works from the artist’s studio. Volosenkov’s mixed media technique adds texture to the works through the use of fabric, foam rubber, levkas, etc. 

Volosenkov’s works’ mainstay is the god Volos, an ancient Slavic deity. Most of the artist’s works can be interpreted as a manifestation of Volos through landscape, still life, various scenes and themes.
