The exhibition presents engravings from different periods of the author’s career. The theme of the exhibition is St Petersburg. The theme of the exhibition is St Petersburg, in honour of the city’s birthday. In his works, the artist continues the traditions of the Leningrad school of printmaking. Leonid graduated from the Nicholas Roerich St Petersburg Art School in 1999 and from the Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts in 2002, specialising in graphics. He has been exhibiting his work since 1999 and regularly participates in national and international exhibitions.
Leonid works in various fields of fine arts: he is engaged in easel painting and illustration, ex-libris (of which he has designed over a hundred). He is the author of the series "Artists’ Books". The artist has illustrated literary works by Shakespeare, Petrarch, Sophocles, Ephros. His works are in many private and public collections, including the library of the State Hermitage Museum.
