Twelve Collegia hallway tour
The St Petersburg University History Museum offers weekly guided tours.
Upon entering the 275-metre corridor of the Twelve Collegia building, you will find yourself in the main university space. This place was the hub of student life at St Petersburg University in the 19th century. Along the entire length of the corridor, you will see cabinets from the previous century, which house the old collections of the Maxim Gorky Scientific Library. The opposite side features a gallery of portraits, busts, and sculptures of famous alumni.
During the tour you will learn about the biographies and scientific achievements of many of these individuals, immerse yourself in the history of Russia’s oldest university and soak up the atmosphere of centuries of academic tradition.

- 3, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25 December at 12 pm and 2 pm
- 4, 28 December at 2 pm
- 7 December at 12 pm
