Students can study one semester in Germany under an agreement between the two universities.
Master’s programme Germany and Eastern Europe in the Context of Cross-Language and Cross-Cultural Interaction
The programme follows the standards of the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). This will enable students to participate in academic mobility without any difficulties. Graduates are expected to be much in demand in Russia and in Germany.
The curriculum includes disciplines on the current issues of history, law and the political system of Germany, Russia, and Eastern European states. There is an emphasis on linguistic training with a focus on the historical, cultural, political, and legal contexts.
The concept of the programme incorporates the needs of the labour market. Graduates have a wide range of competencies necessary for successful interaction with German partners in business, culture, education, and research.
The key advantage of the programme is its corporate ties with employers. Employers are engaged in internships. They also provide consulting support for graduation projects in: leading German language and cultural centres; Russian-German joint ventures; and the translation departments of Russian companies.
Since 1 March 2022, documents (portfolios) are accepted for competition. You can apply on a government-funded basis or a fee-paying basis. The duration of the programme is two years.
