TV Channel "Saint Petersburg": Students from St Petersburg University present their start-ups to potential investors and entrepreneurs
Students from St Petersburg University have showcased their start-ups to potential investors and business representatives.
The Vertical Takeoff pitch session, organised by the regional branch of Business Russia in collaboration with the University’s International Accelerator, featured 20 entrepreneurial projects across various fields, including medicine, chemistry, IT technologies, and artificial intelligence. Participants answered questions from experts and received valuable recommendations for developing their ideas.
"We will gain a new perspective on what interests young people, where they can find their niche, and how they can realise their potential. Most importantly, these young individuals study at the best universities in the country. This exchange of experience between established entrepreneurs and emerging talents will undoubtedly benefit both sides," said Dmitry Panov, Chairman of the St Petersburg branch of Business Russia.
"Such events are not only an opportunity to showcase oneself but also a chance for meaningful networking. After all, many excellent technological solutions are born through collaboration," said Ilya Karyakin, Chief Executive Officer of a technology company.
This session was a pilot event, and the organisers plan to hold similar sessions regularly in future. Participation in these events will enable young entrepreneurs to refine their projects, establish strategic partnerships, and potentially secure investors.
