The Social Clinic includes both classroom and out-of-class forms of student practice. Extracurricular work can be organised onsite and offsite. When clinical practice is organised on external, offsite sites, it is nevertheless supervised by the University academic staff.
As part of the clinical practice, the University students:
- gain knowledge and skills of social work
- gain experience in volunteering
- provide assistance to citizens by taking part in the work of social institutions of St Petersburg
St Petersburg University organises clinical practice in the social sphere through an extensive network of partnerships and collaborations with more than 80 institutions, organisations and administrative bodies of St Petersburg.
